I found a recipe for a cream like pasta sauce that used tofu and non-dairy milk online (go HERE) and tried it. It was great. Not only was it very delicious but it could not have been easier. It is also very versatile. It can be switched up to fit any taste preference. I'm excited to try it out again and add some different flavors.
My little guy LOVES pasta. He asks me every day if he can have "papa" for lunch and if he doesn't like his dinner he says, "no mama...papa pease..." He gobbled this right up. If you're worried about making the vegetarian or vegan change because you think your kids might hang you over it - start with this recipe. I doubt they'll notice they are eating tofu.
